Max's Brick Oven

Great food, excellent seating. The music was louder than I expected. Our server also struggled throughout the 90 minute ordeal of ordering and table service. She was pretty nice overall and instructed us she did not realize we expected our good so quickly and next time we should let the staff know. Several tables were seated, fed, and departed while we took the long way around. Also, next time we'll make sure to request all parts of a salad be served at once. Croutons as dessert was ok, never got the other parts. 🧐🤔🙃

A slight breeze shimmered the recent rains in the courtyard canopy. The soon setting sun bright gold reflections against black iron chairs. And a trumpets mellow tones a call to comfort. The scene, as the table, is set and the plate is placed. A marvel in delicacy and balance as the flavors roll across the tongue and into the mind. Each bite successively slower, a vain attempt to eternalize the moment. A final bite, and a fond smile.
